If you’ve visited this blog in the past, you may have seen posts about Dr. Glen Goldstein’s involvement with Remote Area Medical. This important organization brings vital medical care to people in developing countries, but it’s also doing important work here at home.
Now, there’s a documentary chronicling the work of RAM over a three-day period in Tennessee. Directors Jeff Reichert and Farihah Zaman give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at how RAM operates, and offers an emotional and one-of-a-kind look at the people who are helped by RAM’s three-day medical clinics.
Remote Area Medical brings together doctors from different fields, including dentistry, to help patients who otherwise can’t afford medical care. The results for everyone are often life-changing and eye-opening.
You can see a three-minute sample of the Remote Area Medical film below. You can also find out more about the full-length film by liking their Facebook page.
