{"id":256,"date":"2016-02-18T00:32:08","date_gmt":"2016-02-18T00:32:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.randolphdental.com\/?p=256"},"modified":"2016-05-13T20:15:08","modified_gmt":"2016-05-13T20:15:08","slug":"dr-goldstein-completes-his-sixth-mission-with-remote-area-medical","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.randolphdental.com\/blog\/2016\/02\/dr-goldstein-completes-his-sixth-mission-with-remote-area-medical\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr. Goldstein completes his sixth mission with Remote Area Medical"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Press Release-For Immediate Release<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>February 09, 2015<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Jersey Dentist Continues his Commitment to &#8216;Giving Back&#8217; <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr. Glen Goldstein of Randolph Dental Care Has Recently Returned From His Sixth Consecutive Volunteer Mission Trip with Remote Area Medical<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Randolph, NJ- <a href=\"https:\/\/www.randolphdental.com\/\">New Jersey Dentist<\/a> Glen M Goldstein DMD DICOI recently returned from Knoxville, TN where he volunteered his dental services and expertise on a Remote Area Medical\u00ae (RAM) mission. This marks the sixth year in a row Dr. Goldstein has teamed with other RAM volunteers to provide complimentary dental services for patients who can either not afford health care or do not have access to proper medical and dental facilities. Joining him on this mission for the third time were his son\u2019s Zachary and Gregory.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>During his time there Dr. Goldstein saw numerous patients and performed 84 extractions. His sons were busy assisting other doctors while they performed extractions and fillings.<\/p>\n<p>Following his return Dr. Goldstein spoke highly of his overall experience: &#8220;Dr. Goldstein was pleased to tell us he and his team saw about 600 patients, many of whom slept in their cars the night before in order to be first in line on Saturday morning at 6:00 a.m. In total almost 876 extractions and hundreds of fillings and cleanings were done. He also expressed his gratitude for the number of compliments he received about how friendly he was while providing care, as well as how appreciative patients were that he and his sons flew in from NJ to help them out.&#8221; If not for the generosity of all volunteers these patients have virtually no access to care and many are walking around with life threatening infections. His two sons were equally moved by the genuine appreciation the patients had for them.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Goldstein plans to continue actively volunteering in communities both inside and outside of New Jersey. He is actively working with RAM to bring a mission to New Jersey in 2016.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Glen M Goldstein DMD DIOCI<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Goldstein graduated from Rutgers University before earning his dental degree from the Rutgers School of Biomedical Sciences.
