The organization, which frequently goes into developing countries to provide medical care to the poor, has increasingly been turning its focus on those in rural and suburban parts of America, where many don\u2019t have health insurance, or the number of hospitals and primary-care doctors is lower.<\/p>\n<p>Care at a <strong>Remote Area Medical<\/strong> event ranges from basic medical help to dermatology and even dentistry. Over the course of a weekend, a team of medical volunteers donates their time and expertise to improve lives and make a difference.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr. Goldstein<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.randolphdental.com\/blog\/2013\/02\/working-with-remote-area-medical\/\">participated<\/a> in such an event earliest this year, back in February.
